Ardene exposed for 'faux fur' scam
Accessories retailer Ardene was caught redhanded by Animal Justice for selling real animal fur, but calling it 'faux fur'. It's illegal to deceive unsuspecting consumers, and federal authorities are investigating our legal complaint.

Agriculture Committee studies animal transport laws
Animal Justice lawyer Anna Pippus spoke up against animal transport cruelty in Parliament this month. She testified at the House of Commons Agriculture Committee, reminding politicians that Canada's outdated animal transport laws condemn millions of animals to suffer and die en route to slaughter.

A cruel 'pig scramble' event at a PEI agricultural fair was cancelled! This victory comes after Animal Justice stepped in, warning authorities that pig chasing events violate animal cruelty laws. Pigs are smart, sensitive animals who don't deserve to suffer for entertainment.

Fighting the commercial seal slaughter
Animal Justice's Camille Labchuk returned to the ice floes in Atlantic Canada this year to visit baby seals. Tragically, the seal slaughter is happening right now, and baby seals are being brutally clubbed and shot to death. Please ask Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to end the commercial kill.

Livestock auction workers kick calves
Workers at a livestock auction in Ottawa were caught on camera kicking sleeping, newborn calves while wearing heavy boots. Animal Justice filed legal complaints with animal welfare authorities. Routine animal abuse is unacceptable!
