Dear PAOV,
Thanks to the help of supporters like you, we just won an exciting victory for animals!
Accessories store Ardene was caught red-handed selling socks with real animal fur pom-poms—but telling customers that the socks were made with faux fur. Mislabelling fur products is a serious offence. That's why Animal Justice stepped in and filed a legal complaint with federal authorities.
And now, Ardene has been forced to take the fur socks off their shelves and issue an apology! You can get the details in this story in the National Observer.
PAOV, thousands of supporters like you signed our petition last month demanding that Ardene take fur off of their shelves.... This strong public pressure helped us win this victory!
Most people refuse to wear real animal fur out of concern for the millions of innocent animals brutalized by the fur trade. When consumers look at store labels, they deserve to feel confident that they're not buying cruel fur products. That's why we take mislabelling and false advertising very seriously—because animals and their lives are at stake.
Thank you for helping our furry friends!
