Donald Trump just announced that he's pulling the United States out of the Paris Climate Agreement -- possibly derailing our last best chance to stave off climate disaster.
Trump ignored not only the science, but the 175 countries that signed the deal.
The good news is that Trump can't just immediately pull the U.S. out of the Paris deal alone -- this is a process that could take years. And let's face it: If Trump's scandals keep getting worse, he might not even be president much longer.
We're launching a major push to stop other countries from quitting the deal and to get the 17 CEO’s on Trump’s business advisory council to stop him from pulling the U.S. out of the agreement. Will you chip in today?

In rejecting the Paris Climate Agreement, Trump has sided with climate change deniers and junk science. The latest research shows that climate change is going to push 100 million people into extreme poverty and make half a million homeless by 2030. That's why the world's largest economies, including India and China, signed on to the deal to help mitigate effects of climate change.
The Paris Climate Agreement represents huge gains in the global effort to stop the catastrophic impact of global warming, including keeping the global temperature rise to no more than 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels and working toward net zero emissions by 2070.
SumOfUs was on the front lines of the grassroots movement to pass the Paris Climate Agreement, and we are not going to give up now. We are going to put pressure on Trump's business advisory council to stop him from pulling to keep America in the deal and continue our fight to slow down climate change.
