Our 2016 Annual Report is here!
What a year! It has been a tremendous and challenging year on multiple fronts.
2016 was a critical year from shaping national security policy, fighting for the right to die with dignity for suffering Canadians, prisoner rights, and citizenship equality. In our long history, we have won many important victories for human rights and civil liberties but in 2016 our impact was greater than ever.
Included in our 2016 Annual Report, you can find:
- important updates on our key campaigns
- information about key legal cases
- new directions with casework
- new staff hires

Become A Member or Renew Your Membership
With civil liberties and human rights under attack in Canada and around the world, we need you to join our growing network of members today.
Our newly approved bylaws:
- Reduced the age of eligibility for membership from 18 to 16
- Allow members to join the Board of Directors after six months, instead of one year
Purchasing a BCCLA membership is distinct from making a donation. This allows people to CHOOSE to take on the rights and responsibilities of membership. Now is a great time to ensure your membership is up to date for next year's AGM.

If you have any questions, or would prefer to renew your membership over the phone, call Catherine Hart at 604-630-9757
