Bees will love this.

SumOfUs r1 ...

Next week politicians from all across Europe will arrive at Brussels airport, on their way to decide on an historic ban on bee-killing pesticides.

With your help, we can buy huge billboard ads to greet them in the arrivals hall, as soon as they step off the plane.

But we’ve only 48 hours to pull this off. Can you chip in to launch our emergency campaign to save the bees?

A,

In less than one week, European politicians will gather in Brussels to decide on a ground-breaking ban on neonics -- the toxic chemicals linked to the mass bee die-off.

If the pesticide industry gets its way, we might not get another chance like this, ever.

That’s why we’re doing something we’ve never done before. With your donation we’ll buy up every ad we can in Brussels Airport arrivals hall.

As soon as European politicians step off the plane, they’ll be bombarded with your messages calling on them to save the bees.

But airport ads are expensive -- so we can’t do this without you. We only have 24 hours to come up with the funds to pay for the ads. Can you chip in to make sure we can pull this off?

The EU proposal that will be decided on 12th and 13th December would build on the partial ban of 2013, and we have a real chance of winning.

Countries like the U.K. have already said they plan to vote yes, and Bayer's lobbyists are going all-out to stop us.

Now, this ban is not perfect. For instance, it allows the banned neonics to be used in greenhouses. But it is such a huge step towards a future free of bee-killing pesticides.

And it would be a real blow to the pesticide industry.

Our ministers know that voters want a clean environment free of damaging pesticides. It's just a question of whether they listen to the science and the people -- or the money of the pesticides industry.

That's why our airport ads will be so impactful. We'll be putting them on notice as soon as they arrive in Brussels, that we’ll hold them accountable for their votes.

Unfortunately, we can't afford to buy enough ads to really get their attention unless SumOfUs members like you step up and chip in. That's why we're setting a goal of raising 10.000 Euros to help make sure we can really go big.

Will you chip in today so we can pay for airport ads?
