The SumOfUs community was a powerful defender for the bees this week. Ahead of a crucial EU meeting on the future of bee-killing pesticides, we got ads plastered across Brussels Airport, making sure that leaders didn’t miss our important message.

Representatives from EU governments met to decide on a game-changing proposal to widen the ban on three infamous bee-killing pesticides this week.

Disappointingly, the vote was postponed.

As upset as we are about these news here at SumOfUs, we are equally proud and grateful for the support of the SumOfUs community. Thanks to you, we got these critical ads up quickly -- and they will be seen by thousands of people, and will have a lasting effect on EU politicians that saw them.

And now, we will build on our momentum.... We are going to keep fighting until we convince a majority of EU governments to side with the bees -- and they vote in favour of this proposal.

Thank you for all that you do helping to save the bees from big pesticide and all the other work you put into holding corporations to account!
