SOLIDARITY RALLIES FOR ONTARIO TIM HORTON'S WORKERS ON WEDNESDAY
There have been some additions to the 3 Tim Horton's locations we sent you Tuesday morning.
Please note that the times of these solidarity rallies vary by location. You should also block 15 January as a large rally is planned for Tim Horton's corporate HQ in Oakville.
IMPORTANT: The labour movement is NOT calling for a boycott of Tim Horton's. These rallies are to support the workers who are being forced to pay for their own wage increase.
TORONTO AREA LOCATIONS:
- Markham + Lawrence, 08:00
- Eglinton + Bermondsey, 09:00
- Keele + Wilson, 08:00
- Spadina + College 08:00
- York University (Central Square location) 14:30-15:30
- Yonge & College 16:30
- Queen and Jameson, 17:00
- Bloor and St. George, noon.
LONDON:
172 Dundas St at Richmond, 15:00.
PETERBOROUGH:
Lansdowne St and Monaghan Rd in Peterborough. Rally at 16:30.
OTTAWA:
200 Sparks Street, noon.
WINDSOR:
Windsor St & Wellington (80 Park St E) 10:00.
GUELPH:
Victoria & York (212 Victoria Rd South) 17:00.
WHITBY ON SATURDAY THE 13th:
609 Victoria Street West at 15:00.
The original 3 locations details are:
DUNDAS: 5pm @ the Timmy's at 38 York Road, Dundas. L9H 1L4.
WEST TORONTO: 8am @ the Tim's at 1094 Bloor West M6H 1M5.
