Heres how we stop Kinder Morgan. Are you in?

This is our moment. r1

Friend,

We came up with a plan on how we think we can stop the Kinder Morgan pipeline, but we need to be upfront about something: the strategy is big. It’s going to require a lot of small, medium and big tasks taken on by many.

We know that Trudeau’s government is gambling their political legacy on Kinder Morgan. They think they can get away with a multi-billion dollar bailout for a massive Texas-based oil company, ignoring Indigenous rights, and disregarding climate science.

We have to show that going all-in on Kinder Morgan will cost the Liberals, both in BC and across the country. That’s why we’re asking people like you to take action targeting your local Liberal MP.

Will you commit right now to organizing an action during in this critical moment?

Everything you... need to take action is in the organizer toolkit, including what you can do if you don’t live in a Liberal riding. Our team is also ready to support you every step of the way!

This movement has already pushed Kinder Morgan to temporarily freeze spending on the pipeline and admit the project may be ‘untenable’. And it’s why Trudeau is desperately scrambling to save the project by pledging billions of taxpayer dollars and is being so eager to part the legislative seas to see the pipeline happen.

It’s clear we’re so close to winning this fight -- and that’s why we can’t let up now. We have until May 9th, when Kinder Morgan’s investors get together, to show that this pipeline simply won’t be built. This is the moment to pull together and tip the scales in our favour.

Sign up today to take action in your community.

We know that people in every corner of this country want real climate action that respects Indigenous rights. It’s time to let our elected politicians know that we expect nothing less.

In solidarity,

Katie

PS. We had a mass organizing call last night to share our plan and why we think it’ll work. We were joined by Eriel Deranger from Indigenous Climate Action, and Cedar George Parker, a youth leader from Tsleil-Waututh Nation. Watch it here.
