A -- our pressure is working! Austria and Germany are voting for an historic EU ban on bee-killing pesticides -- we’re *this* close to winning a massive victory for the bees.
But there are still up to 8 key countries that could go either way and we’ve got just 5 days.
To get us over the line we’re ready to double-down on hard hitting ads that key decision-makers won’t be able to ignore. It could be enough to push the vote in favour of the bees, but we need your support to make it happen and the clock is ticking!

On 27th April, EU governments will vote on whether to ban a number of neonic pesticides -- the future of the bees hangs in the balance.
We know these pesticides are responsible for mass bee die-offs and now evidence shows the same pesticides are killing birds too.
After years of campaigning by SumOfUs members like you, we’ve finally got an EU vote. We simply can’t miss this opportunity.
We’re ready to plaster our bee-saving message over the most influential Brussels news-sites and major newspapers in the EU countries that could sway the vote. But we need your support to pull it off.

It’s a crucial follow up to a partial ban on these dangerous pesticides adopted in 2013.
Five years later, it’s impossible to ignore the scientific evidence that neonics used on crops are harming the bees that pollinate them. And the European Food Safety Authority has acknowledged that too -- repeatedly.
The Commission’s proposal, is far from perfect -- it allows the banned neonics to be used in greenhouses. But it would definitely still spell vital progress towards a future free of bee-killing pesticides.
