PAOV—
Thank you for being a part of the Change.org community and for taking action on the issues that matter to you.
We're sending you this email because we're making some updates to Change.org's Privacy Policy. The updates give you more power over your personal information, support new European data protection laws, and introduce improved tools to manage your privacy when you use Change.org. Our new policies come into effect on May 24, 2018.
Here are the key updates:
- We've restructured our Privacy Policy to make it clearer for you to understand the data we have, how we use it, and your choices.
- We've raised the age restriction of our services from 13 to 16, in line with the new European requirements—we've also reflected this change in our Terms of Service.
- We've removed the parts of our Privacy Policy that enabled our discontinued “Sponsored Campaigns” product, which we no longer offer.
- We've made it even easier for you to control the emails you receive from us. If you no longer want to hear updates about petitions you have signed or other ways you can help, you can opt out of those emails by clicking “privacy & preferences” on your user profile or navigating here: https://www.change.org/account_settings/privacy.
