Help make your state a honey bee haven!

Dear PAOV,

Bees and other pollinators are vital for agriculture. In fact, they’re responsible for pollinating one in every three bites of food we eat — but they’re dying off at alarming rates.

Urge your governor to make your state a “haven” for pollinators by supporting policies that halt widespread use of bee-toxic pesticides.

Pollinators are threatened thanks to a combination of factors — like habitat loss, disease and pesticide exposure. The good news? There’s a powerful movement growing to protect pollinators. This Pollinator Week, advocates from across the country are calling for honey bee havens in their states. PAOV, British Columbia is next.

Europe has already halted the use of many harmful and often unnecessary pesticides, but here in the U.S., federal policymakers have refused to take meaningful action.

It’s time for states to step up. Visit our updated Honey Bee Haven website to take action for a pollinator-friendly British Columbia, today.

Thanks for all you do.
