It’s official: Bayer and Monsanto have merged.
We’re up against this new mega-corporation, and we need your crucial support to protect bees, farmers, and our food supply. Will you please make a small monthly gift today?
A,
The marriage made in hell is official: Bayer and Monsanto have merged, and a monster is born.
One dangerous global, mega-corporation is now controlling almost our entire food supply from farm to plate. And it’s toxic.
When we recently turned up to Bayer’s annual shareholder meeting, the company insisted it’s changing its ways. But we know that Bayer can’t be trusted.
This “new” company is continuing to soak our world with bee-killing pesticides, and it’s carrying on the horrific legacy of Monsanto.
We need you to resist it: your ongoing support today in the form of a small monthly gift means we can continue working with beekeepers, farmers, scientists, and people like you to keep building a strong, united opposition to this new monster -- to protect our bees and our food.

There is no doubt global giant Bayer has a bunch of tricks already up its sleeve it’s about to unleash.
And it is the most dangerous it’s ever been, having taken over Monsanto, the company responsible for creating Agent Orange, the deadly herbicide used in the Vietnam War.
Taking on this new mega-corporation effectively will cost money. That’s why we’re asking you to make an ongoing gift no matter how small.
Because if we can count on regular donations from members like you, we can plan ahead and roll out hard-hitting tactics on a consistent basis: like ads, legal tactics, stunts, and much more.

When SumOfUs members like you pool your people power and resources it works: just recently, bee protectors around the world, including you, secured a huge win: a European ban on three major bee-killing pesticides.
And just last month, the incredible support of members like you meant we could turn up in full force at Bayer’s most important meeting of the year -- where Bayer’s investors gathered.
It was only because SumOfUs members like you donated that we could get beekeepers to the meeting to directly confront Bayer about its bee-killing pesticides.
Together with a bunch of SumOfUs volunteers, we protested and kept Bayer accountable -- asking it whether it would keep suing small farmers like Monsanto to protect its patents (it said no but its past actions lead us to believe otherwise).
We have so much more work to do to keep Bayer in line, and we count on your ongoing support to stop the worst effects of this new mega corporation -- to protect the bees, farmers, and our food supply.
Corporate lobbyists are working overtime already to undermine the historic European ban against bee-killing pesticides. And now that Bayer has merged with Monsanto, it’s even more powerful than it used to be. Meaning we have to level up too.
