WIN! Districts of Shelburne and Lunenburg support offshore drilling inquiry!
Both the Municipality of the District of Shelburne and the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg voted in support of a moratorium on offshore drilling until the completion of a "full and independent public inquiry into the pros and cons of oil industry exploration" offshore... Nova Scotia.
Council joins large coalition agreeing on pharmacare principles
The Council of Canadians has joined more than 70 national, provincial and territorial organizations representing health care providers, non-profit organizations, workers, seniors, patients and academics in consensus on principles for a national pharmacare program in Canada – and the number of organizations endorsing these principles is growing by the day.
