Employees of Best Services Pros Inc. in British Columbia are organizing to form a union and win better wages and working conditions. In response Best Service Pros Inc. has undertaken an aggressive campaign to stop workers from organizing that has lead to over 50 legal complaints at the British Columbia Labour Relations Board. Inspired? Batteries charged? Great. Now, what can we do with that energy? Here are two things that will take only a few seconds.
The employer at Elmwood Group Homes (EGH) in Saskatoon is offering a fictional wage increase that would only take effect if the provincial government increases funding to cover the offer. Support these already underpaid workers with a quick message to their employer telling it what you think of this 'offer'. You can send your message in solidarity with these SEIU members HERE.
CUPE 2424 members are walking a picket line in Ottawa. Carleton University’s administrative, technical and library staff, skilled and dedicated workers are on strike to defend their pension rights.
