For a small newsroom, we’ve managed to accomplish some big things.We’ve become members of the B.C. press gallery, broken national news stories and travelled to remote communities to hear perspectives often overlooked by traditional news outlets.
We haven’t pulled this off because we’re magicians or because we’re lucky — we’ve pulled this off because readers like you from across this great country decided they were tired of hearing about the problems plaguing the media.
Hundreds of people like you decided they wanted to help rebuild a version of journalism that serves the public and then they became monthly members of The Narwhal to make that happen.
Your support has allowed us to flourish and now we’re asking you to help us grow. We're looking for 80 readers to become monthly members to bring more in-depth, reader-funded journalism to Canada’s oil and gas headquarters: Alberta.
