Sunday is a great day to save pollinators
Hello lovely bee enthusiasts,
We get it — life is busy. Last month, we emailed you to help protect the bees. We just want to remind you that now is the perfect time to save our bees and other pollinators.

The science is piling up against neonicotinoids (neonics). These pollinator-killing pesticides are causing worldwide bee colony collapse. In Ontario, they contributed to the loss of 58 per cent of bees in a single winter. Our fuzzy friends are struggling to survive in neonic-contaminated environments across the country. It’s time for a Canada-wide ban on neonics!
Right now, Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) is asking for public feedback on new proposals for the use of two neonics, clothianidin and thiamethoxam.
