Next Tuesday, March 5, as part of Ideafest19, the Latin American Studies
Program will present a panel on Latin American muralism and identity. Taking as
a point of departure the recently inaugurated Latin American Studies mural in
Clearihue (facing A118) the panel will discuss the creation of this work of art
that is inspired by Mexican Indigenous textiles. As of that day, a sample
exhibit of The Mayan Dress Code will be on display in the glass vitrines of the
Department of History, (2nd floor of Clearihue B). Please mark your agendas and
kindly distribute the attached poster to colleagues, students, and
friends.
See you there!
