Break through the echo chamber

NationBuilder r1 British Columbia Health Coalition

Paov --

The facts are on our side, a universal single-payer pharmacare plan would save money and lives.

However, Big Pharma and Big Insurance have bankrolled a misinformation campaign that has dominated the media and election narratives. These powerful lobbies have created an echo chamber obscuring facts in an attempt to preserve the status quo, where they reap huge profits off of the inefficiencies of our fractured system.

Our voices are more powerful than their lies. By using this simple tool, you can send a letter to the editor of your local newspaper and help take back the message.

Send a Letter to the Editor

We have decades of independent expert reports supporting the need for universal single-payer pharmacare. Such a plan would not only ensure that all Canadians have equitable and affordable access to life saving medication, but by negotiating drug prices for the country as a whole (“bulk buying”) we could significantly lower prices for prescription medications.

By writing letters to the editor, we can take the message back. Use our easy tool to send your own original letter or to edit and share a randomly-selected template.

Take the Message Back

Let’s take back the message, so that the government will be forced to acknowledge the truth: universal single-payer pharmacare is in all of our best interests.
