Do you live in a multi-unit apartment or condominium building? Are you interested in strengthening emergency preparedness and connections between your neighbours?
Learn More & Apply HereAre you a renter in an apartment, condo or townhouse? This program could be a good fit for you and your neighbours.
We encourage renters to apply!
Who: Groups of neighbours living in the same apartment/condo building within the City of Victoria. We'll be selecting up to four multi-unit buildings to participate!
What: Expert resource people, shared emergency supplies, micro-grants, three facilitated workshops between February & May 2020, and more!
Where: Victoria, BC
When: Deadline for expressions of interest December 13th, 2019
Why: Neighbours are our first responders! It makes sense to be connected and prepared together and build stronger communities where we live.

Local Champions is a new community- based leadership development program for Victoria residents to gain foundational skills, confidence and relationships to become more active and engaged “local champions” in their neighbourhood or community.
