Two weeks left to speak up for old-growth forests

Change BC’s old-growth policy

Dear Paov,

The next two weeks are critical in the fight to protect endangered old-growth forests.

Over the past three months, a government panel has held hundreds of meetings and received thousands of letters about what changes are needed in old-growth forest management.

This panel is accepting public comment until January 31. Our goal is to ensure that it is flooded with a loud, simple message: it’s time to protect all remaining old-growth forests.

We know industry has been working to water down the panel’s report and that the government will be reluctant to change the status quo.
