Change BC’s old-growth policy
Dear Paov,
The next two weeks are critical in the fight to protect endangered old-growth forests.
Over the past three months, a government panel has held hundreds of meetings and received thousands of letters about what changes are needed in old-growth forest management.
This panel is accepting public comment until January 31. Our goal is to ensure that it is flooded with a loud, simple message: it’s time to protect all remaining old-growth forests.
We know industry has been working to water down the panel’s report and that the government will be reluctant to change the status quo. Your letters make it crystal clear that the public demands a rapid, just transition to second growth forestry in BC. Protect old-growth today!

For the ancient forests,
