Urgent Action, Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources, Wednesday,
January 22, 8 am, unceded Lekwungen territory. 1980 Blanshard Street.
All day, January 21st, Indigenous youth from many nations have occupied the
office building of the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources at
1810 Blanshard St. in so-called Victoria, B.C amplifying the demands of the
Wet'suwet'en hereditary leadership for the RCMP to stand down and remove
their
blockade on the Wet'suwet'en yintahs and for Premier Horgan to meet directly
with hereditary leaders.
The youth have the intention of remaining indefinitely occupying the office
until Minister Mungall will respect their request to deliver these demands
directly to her; and have put out an urgent-action call for people to gather
in solidarity tomorrow morning, 8 am at 1810 Blanshard St.
