Action Round Up, Video Updates, And Organizing Asks!

Hundreds of students walk out of class in solidarity with Wet'suwet'en Monday! This week has been beautiful with an outpouring of solidarity for the Wet'suwet'en Struggle.

Everyday that CGL Is out of the territory is a victory, and keeping this front and center in the public eye is forcing the public to reckon with ongoing settler colonialism in so called Canada.

Maintaining this kind of momentum and mobilization is hard work, but you all have been rising to this historic moment in incredible ways that are building mass public support and forcing the government to rethink what they can get away with.

Two powerful video updates from camp came out this week. Take ten minutes to watch them both here:

Since our last email more actions have gone off than we can keep up with, but below is a sample of some of what has been happening!

On Monday hundreds of students walked out of class in Vancouver in solidarity with the Wet'suwet'en

Major rail lines were anonymously disrupted in Burlington Ontario, as well as in Whatcom County, WA

Three young people were arrested after shutting down the BC Attorney General's office for the day

On Saturday the Port of Vancouver was shut down for multiple hours by only 2 dozen people

Folks in Minnesota blockaded a TC Energy work site for the line 3 pipeline in solidarity with Wet'suwet'en

Folks in Guelph shut down a Royal Bank of Canada Branch for funding CGL

You all are doing powerful work and it is amazing to see so much happening all over turtle Island!

Funds for legal resources and on the ground supplies are greatly needed.

So many of you have been ongoing financial supporters helping to make this struggle possible! Can you take that a step further and fundraise in your community?

Consider Inviting your friends and neighbors over to watch Invasion and recent clips from camp and then send money to camp.

Or better yet link up with folks in your community to host a film screening fundraiser at a public venue!

Please follow the Fundraising Protocol

Can't host an event? Can you take ten minutes to write a post on social media about why you support this struggle and ask your friends to donate?

Politicians need to continually feel the direct weight of public opinion to keep folks on the front line safe. They don't know your pissed unless you tell them directly.
