Even as oil prices dip into the negatives and companies are paying to offload their worthless bitumen, the federal government still plans to spend over $12 billion on a pipeline to transport it. Trans Mountain is starting construction in fits and starts but costly delays are already mounting.
Canada needs money for pandemic response, not a pipeline for oil nobody wants. Will you tell Finance Minister Bill Morneau to halt construction?
