More action needed now if government intends to keep its promises
Hi Paov,
Last fall, I was encouraged when Premier John Horgan and the BC NDP government committed to a ‘paradigm shift’ in forest management promising to protect endangered old-growth.
Six months later Wilderness Committee, along with our allies, assessed the BC government’s progress. Frankly, Horgan is failing. We graded his government in five subjects. Here’s his report card.

Notify the rest of Horgan’s supervisors (the public) — share this report card far and wide!

Your activism has shone a spotlight on the crisis in old-growth forests. Let’s make sure the BC government gets the attention it needs to reach our expectations: end ecosystem destruction and shift to a forestry model that centres on biodiversity, First Nations and sustainable communities.
