You won’t want to miss this livestream series r1 ...

Join Rueben George and Peter McCartney Tuesdays at 6!

Hi Paov,

Am I ever excited for this! Our good friend Rueben George from the Tsleil-Waututh Nation and I are hosting a livestream series and the speakers he’s lined up are phenomenal.

“Truth, Family, Culture, Health,” the foundations of Coast Salish Law, will air every Tuesday starting April 6 at 6 p.m. PST (9 p.m. EST) on Sacred Ecology. We’ll feature weekly updates from the fight against the Trans Mountain pipeline and inspiring words from movement leaders to guide us to victory. Check out this legendary lineup:
  • Winona LaDuke, Native American environmentalist and director of Honor the Earth
  • Clayton Thomas-Muller, Indigenous activist and founder of Defenders of the Land
  • Faith Spotted Eagle, Native American activist and politician
  • Chief Phil Lane Jr., founder of Four World's International Institute
  • Bill McKibben, environmentalist, author and founder of 350. org
  • Derek Nepinak, former-grand chief of the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs
  • Dr Pam Palmater, Mi'kmaq lawyer, professor and activist
  • Eriel Deranger, founder of Indigenous Climate Action
  • Lee Maracle, Indigenous writer and activist
  • Serge Simon, grand chief of Kanesatake
  • Harsha Walia, executive director of the BC Civil Liberties Association
Check it out here! I hope to see you there and don’t forget to invite your friends!
