WE NEED ALL HANDS ON DECK.

• If you can make it to the frontlines, please join us at HQ. Bring as many people as you can and plan to stay for a day or two; sheer numbers of peaceful protestors are our best weapon against the RCMP.
• If you're in the city and can't make it to the frontlines, please come to the BC Legislature for one of our biggest actions yet. We'll march from the courthouse at 2pm, and celebrations and speeches will last from 3pm through evening.

It's been exactly one year since a group of two dozen people pitched tents to prevent road building into the Fairy Creek headwaters. Since then, this has become one of the largest civil disobedience campaigns in Canadian history, with over 520 arrests and thousands of supporters from all walks of life joining our fight for ancient forests.

This movement has grown from a blockade to protect one watershed into a movement to end all old-growth logging once and for all.

The RCMP chose this day to raid our major camps knowing that many of us would be at our one-year celebration at the legislature in Victoria today. Let's show them our strength and show up in numbers at camp and on the streets.

Together we will protect the last stands of the most-carbon rich, biodiverse ecosystems in the world. This is our chance to change history. We've been standing strong; let's keep it up! We are honoured to do this work as guests on traditional territory of the Pacheedaht and Ditidaht First Nations. We work with utmost respect for the land and all its relations, human and nonhuman.
