Argonaut Creek must be permanently protected
Hi Paov,
The saga to permanently protect Argonaut Creek may be ending soon — let’s make it a historic win.
The government will be making decisions on what old-growth forests to protect soon! Let's make sure it fulfills the call from concerned First Nations, members of the public and scientists to permanently protect Argonaut Creek.

The Splatsin First Nation, Shuswap Nation Tribal Council and Ktunaxa Nation have all issued statements calling for protection of the North Columbia caribou herd. BC must work directly with the First Nations whose territories overlap with Argonaut Creek to protect the area and create a caribou recovery plan.
Since the beginning of July concerned individuals have blocked road building into Argonaut Creek. People are fighting for its protection because they know the value and rarity of such an incredible forest. In the heart of the inland temperate rainforest, the Argonaut Creek is not one that can be replaced. Help protect it today. Protect the endangered caribou! We’ve worked so hard for this. Tell the government to solidify the protection of Argonaut Creek.
For the North Columbia caribou herd,
