Our "Connect" events are happening this week, all across Canada, but it doesn't look like you've RSVP'd to an event yet. Everything we do as the Leadnow community is only possible because of people like you who care working together, and we'd love for you to join us if you can.
Since we last emailed, a number of new volunteers have stepped up to host events, so today we're sending you the details of what looks like your closest public event again.
Here are the details of the public event nearest you.
(If you're already planning to go to a different event, that's fine, just ignore this!)

What’s Connect?
From February 27th to March 9th volunteers in the Leadnow.ca community are hosting over 70 events all across Canada to launch our people-powered campaign for the next federal election and beyond.
The core idea is simple: if we start working together now, we’ll be able to help hold the Harper Conservatives accountable at the ballot box and elect people with a strong mandate to cooperate for action on democracy, climate, and inequality.
More than that, by working together in communities across the country, we’ll be able to build a movement strong enough to push for real changes after the election.
During Connect events, we’ll share this people-powered plan for the 2015 election and beyond, ask for your input, and introduce practical next steps to start having an impact in our communities. Click here to find a Connect event near you and RSVP.
We know that no single election can create an open democracy, build a fair economy and achieve climate justice - that will take a generation.
And that’s why we want to make this campaign different. Together, we can build a network of small teams in communities around the country who will make a difference in the next election, and lay a strong foundation to push for real changes after the election.
