Have your say on Canadas climate plans

Have your say on Canada’s climate plans r1 ...

We must do more than Canada’s
2030 and 2050 goals

Hi Paov,

Canada’s new environment minister wants your suggestions to meet the nation’s climate goals. More than 20,000 people have already participated in the consultation, so it’s open for another week due to popular demand.

Share your ideas to cut climate pollution with the federal government!

FILL OUT THE SURVEY Where Canada’s greenhouse gas emissions come from. Most of the questions are optional, so you can choose which ones you want to answer if you don’t feel like doing the whole thing.

While we know Canada needs to set more ambitious targets, it also needs to get moving on drastic, rapid emissions reductions. It’ll be the challenge of our lifetimes to get this done. Our leaders need every idea they can get.

We’ve talked about climate solutions before, including the obvious — stop building new pipelines like Trans Mountain and Coastal GasLink. But there is also so much work to be done on agriculture, buildings, transportation, land use and waste. Here are a few things the government could do right away to get started.

Can you let them know by January 21 what they should do to eliminate climate pollution? Have your say! It’ll take transformational action to tackle climate change. This is our chance to shape how Canada responds to this crisis and makes life better for all of us in the process. Let’s get it done!

For the climate,
