It's time to raise our voices, along with that of many others around the world, against Israeli apartheid, human rights violations, and the demolition of Palestinian homes, with the land of those demolished Palestinian homes being handed over to Jewish Zionist settlers. It is past time for us to speak out against Israel’s torture of thousands of Palestinian political prisoners and the incarceration of hundreds of Palestinian children. It's past time to demand that the Canadian government stop selling Israeli wines manufactured with... grapes grown on stolen Palestinian territory.
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) is a Palestinian-led movement for freedom, justice and equality. BDS upholds the simple principle that Palestinians are entitled to the same rights as the rest of humanity.
Saturday, Feb. 5 will be a day of action to Boycott Israeli Wines. We hope you can join us.
Everyone is encouraged to create their own placard. The signs should be approximately 3 feet wide by 4 feet tall. Let us know if any of us have trouble making our own placards, we'll produce some extras for those of us who can't.
Here are some suggestions for slogans:
