Take action for this beloved forest!
Hi Paov,
A logging company, Cooper Creek Cedar, has just announced their intention to begin logging in the spectacular 6,200 hectare Argenta Face Forest. This area is located at the north end of Kootenay Lake between the communities of Argenta and Johnsons Landing. The region is within the unceded territory of the Ktunaxa, Secwépemc, Sinixt and Syilx nations.
Will you help the people of the West Kootenay defend the beloved Argenta Face Forest by writing your letter today to BC Premier John Horgan and elected representatives?

Now people who live in this part of the West Kootenay are feeling very upset and betrayed by the government for permitting the logging plans and are organizing on-the-ground protests.
The Argenta Face Forest is not just a local issue. It's also of provincial, national and even international importance because it harbours rare old-growth trees and the habitats of extremely at-risk species like southern mountain caribou.
Pubic frustration with the logging plans is rising fast and time is running out with logging scheduled to start up any day.
Write my letter now! Your letter could very well be the one that finally tips the scales in favour of preservation — a reprieve for the ancient trees and at-risk wildlife of the beautiful Argenta Face Forest.
For the wild,
