Last year’s unprecedented climate disasters have made it even more urgent to eliminate carbon pollution. Municipal elections are in October, and local governments will make key decisions around land use, transportation, food and energy in the coming years.
Building better neighbourhoods with multi-family housing, walkable streets, reliable public transit, local food and sustainable power can help tackle climate change and deliver a better quality of life for everyone.

Voters need to know what it looks like to eliminate pollution at a local level.
