Dear Paov,
Just recently, we launched our Sue Big Oil campaign – a people-powered campaign designed to hold fossil fuel companies accountable for climate impacts in communities in BC.
Devastating wildfires, heatwaves and flooding uprooted thousands of British Columbians from their homes and killed hundreds in this past year alone. These are the horrific impacts of climate change.
Fossil fuel companies have known for decades that burning fossil fuel would lead to climate change, but they invested in misinformation and lobbying against climate action anyway, so that they can continue to make sky-high profits. And they will keep doing so as long as we let them. HOLD FOSSIL FUEL COMPANIES ACCOUNTABLE
