Tell the government to choose caribou and climate
Hi Paov,
There are just days left in the consultation for the Sukunka coal mine. The government needs to know that British Columbians say no to this destructive open pit coal mine. Have your say before Sep. 1.
There are so many reasons to cancel this mine. I recently visited the area and met with the Saulteau First Nation council who are concerned about the coal mine’s impact on the Quintette caribou herd. Take a look at our new video on how the mine would be an environmental disaster and take action!

BC’s environmental assessment process is only taking comments until the end of this month. If you’ve already written in, thanks so much. Please take a second to share with your family and friends. If you haven’t had your say yet, take a few minutes right now. Write your letter today! Let’s get this mine shut down.
