Yes, you read that right –
A win for caribou!!
Hi Paov,
We did it! Because you answered the call, West Fraser held off on logging 54 cutblocks in endangered caribou habitat. Together, we’ve helped keep their habitat intact and new photos reveal that caribou are safely using the habitat that would have been logged.

It's all thanks to you!
Because of your support, Em and I swiftly produced a video and news stories to gain mobilization against the logging plans. The pushback to the plans made West Fraser agree to halt their plans until herd planning is complete. Herd plans are currently being developed to protect the province's woodland caribou population. It’s been a year since the habitat was temporarily taken off the chopping block. Word from our friends on the ground is that things are quiet in the area. That’s perfect for caribou. No chainsaws, no logging trucks.

Will you donate to help save the habitat of the La Peche caribou herd?
Here's my gift to keep caribou calls-to-act coming!
We’re not done yet. Herd plans could come as early as 2023 and we need to make sure their migration habitat is protected! For wild,
