Let’s make David Eby’s first day as premier all about old-growth forests!
Hi Paov,
Your efforts to hold the BC government accountable on old-growth forests are making a difference.
David Eby’s first day in office as premier will be Monday, November 21 — let’s flood his phone lines and demand he move quickly to stop the destruction of at-risk old-growth! Next Monday I'll send you a follow-up email with our handy calling tool to help you make the call.
In his first speech as premier-designate, Eby named accelerating action on old-growth as one of his top five key priorities. But the BC NDP has a long track record of making promises on this issue and not delivering.

We need a just transition to sustainable second-growth forestry that honours and upholds Indigenous sovereignty and respects ecological limits, and we need safeguards for the most endangered ecosystems to ensure this transition is possible.
Eby has promised to do better, and it’s our job to hold him to that. Tell your friends! Share this page — the more people who take to the phones, the better.

For irreplaceable old-growth forests,
