Let’s make ancient forests an issue on David Eby's first day
Hi Paov,
When it comes to climate change and the environment, BC’s NDP government has been long on promises but light on action. David Eby has pledged to do better, and we need to hold him to it.
TODAY is Eby’s first day in office as premier. Let's flood his phone lines and demand he move quickly to stop the destruction of at-risk old-growth.

Standing old-growth forests have a crucial role to play in the fight against climate change — the most important challenge of our time. Old-growth can store more carbon than younger forests and research shows logging these forests increases our vulnerability to climate disasters.
Eby promised to do better on both climate change and forests: protecting the most valuable old-growth is where he needs to start. CALL NOW! After you make your call, use email or social media to invite your friends — the more people who take to the phones, the better. We need a just transition to sustainable second-growth forestry that honours and upholds Indigenous sovereignty and respects ecological limits, and we need safeguards for the most endangered ecosystems to ensure this transition is possible.
Take a few minutes to make your call today!
For irreplaceable old-growth forests,
