Join the May 4 Frack Free BC Organizing Call
Dear Paov,
Have you seen the calls to end fracking in your community?
Last month, activists from all across the province joined the Frack Free BC alliance for our art day of action. Forty different teams dropped banners and put up thousands of posters demanding an end to fracking in BC — but we are just getting started. Join us for our next organizing call on May 4th to find out how we’ll build the movement over the summer.
Scientists are predicting another hot, dry summer for BC, so we’re planning to turn up the heat on provincial decision-makers. With lots of community events coming up this summer, there are plenty of opportunities to make our voices heard.
Join friends from the Wilderness Committee, STAND and Dogwood at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 4th to learn more about how we can build the power necessary to end fracking in BC.
Despite the provincial government’s greenwashing, fracking remains BC’s biggest climate problem. And it’s going to take all of us to put an end to it. Hope to see you there!
For the climate,

Peter McCartney
