Did you see Whitney's email?

r1 I hope you’ll join us in advocating for the natural world ... Hi Paov,

Last week, my colleague Whitney sent the email below, speaking about the importance of a new biodiversity and ecosystem health law.

Like Whitney, I believe we can create a future where biodiversity is given the respect it deserves.

If that is to happen, we can’t let up on advancing long-term, sustainable solutions.

STAND UP FOR BIODIVERSITY WITH WEST COAST
Now more than ever we need laws that prioritize biodiversity and ecosystem health for the long run.

I hope you'll join us to make this paradigm shift a reality in BC.

With gratitude,

DONATE NOW
Hello Paov,

I often wonder what the future will look like for places that I love.

Because of nature loss, I fear that my children and grandchildren will have drastically different memories of their surroundings than we do. We’re risking their relationship with the land, air, and water around them. I am seeing young people, like my nieces and nephews, growing up with anxiety about the health of the natural world.

SUPPORT LEGAL SOLUTIONS FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
West Coast is advocating for provincial laws to protect biodiversity and ecosystem health.

We need legal strategies that prioritize biodiversity and ecosystem health for the long run. We need laws that prioritize the well-being of communities – not just today but into the future.

I want future generations to have meaningful relationships with their surroundings. I want them to cherish the natural world. That’s why I do the work I do at West Coast.

Paov, join me in harnessing this hope for the future. Please make a donation today.

West Coast is committed to making sure that promises are kept. We want to ensure that new laws are written and that species are protected.

TAKE ACTION BY DONATING TODAY
We are connected to the world we live in. In a rush to extract resources and make money, it seems we have forgotten that. Mountains, rivers, oceans, and forests are full of living beings. We are connected to those living beings. It’s time to show them we care about them.

With your support we can develop long-term legal solutions to help the natural world and our communities to thrive.

We can’t give up on advocating for thriving natural world, one where biodiversity is respected and protected.

With hope,

Whitney Lafreniere Vicente

P.S. We need laws that prioritize the well-being of our children and grandchildren. Please donate today and join West Coast Environmental Law in developing lasting legal strategies.
