As I reflect on all of our work in the past year, I am grateful for the community that surrounds West Coast – a community that includes supporters like you.
I continue to be inspired by the people we encounter every day taking action in their own communities – from the clients we meet through our Access to Justice program stepping up to protect their local waterways, to the community members mobilizing to get their local governments to sue Big Oil for climate damages, to the Indigenous partners revitalizing their laws to restore the health of their territories for their children and grandchildren.
For every shadow cast by the challenges of climate change and biodiversity loss, there's a beacon of light ignited by individuals, communities, and organizations determined to make a difference.
Paov, thank you for caring deeply about the natural world, and just environmental decision-making.
