Legally protecting the ocean is a complex task that must be approached from multiple angles.
Without strategic and lasting laws to protect and heal marine ecosystems, we risk the ability for keystone species like orcas, salmon, and grizzly bears to survive and thrive.
Our relationship with the ocean is at stake. But strong laws that support ocean health can help us preserve cultural connections, maintain food security, and avoid the worst climate impacts.
