Hello Paov!
Yesterday you would have received the email below from my colleague Sambriddhi. There are now just a few more hours until midnight, and I wanted to ensure you saw her email.
Tonight at 11:59 PM (PST) is the deadline to make a gift and receive a charitable donation receipt for 2023.
This year, for most of us, represents a varied range of experiences.
To echo Sambriddhi’s words:
At the core of our work is hope. Hope that our efforts will result in changed laws and shifts in public opinion. Hope that these efforts will make systemic change that will last generations to come. Hope that they will, ultimately, lead to a safer planet for our descendants.

Earlier this month, my colleagues and I enjoying some time together before a break for the end of the year.
I talked with colleagues working on our various teams, and I was reminded of why we do the work we do at West Coast. We are a diverse group of people with diverse education, work, and life experiences. We come together agreeing that we need to take action to combat environmental challenges.
At West Coast, we believe that transforming the legal landscape is a critical part of challenging the status quo and building a healthier more resilient future for all.
