When the mail stopped moving last month, it didn’t just slow deliveries — it slowed down the fight for public health care.

We stand in solidarity with postal workers — everyone deserves fair pay and safe working conditions.

But when the mail stopped moving, a vital source of funding for our work defending public health care stopped too. Envelopes filled with hope — and cheques meant to support our campaigns — sat in sorting stations, unopened and undelivered.

The result? A setback right when we need to be strongest. With privatization deepening, family doctors disappearing, and for-profit clinics expanding, we need to ensure our members’ voices are heard in shaping BC’s health-care future — especially as the Ministry of Health moves ahead with major primary-care reforms.
