Greetings! We welcome you to take part in our upcoming CUVIC 2014 Conference from May20-22nd and related events!

As key people trying to build the community-campus connection and stronger public engagement we welcome you to some key pre-conference events and invite you to also spread the word and the email flyer below to your own Networks.

Below and attached is info on our May 20th Pre-Conference Engaged Practice Day events and the latest CUVIC flyer (embedded below).

The Engaged Practice Learning Exchange in the AM and CBRC meeting at Lunch are OPEN but require on-line registration via CUVIC

There are many... exciting opportunities to get engaged AND enjoy yourselves...there are also field visits are also on the Friday the 23rd if you miss the visits on Tuesday the 20th.

May 20th Engaged Practice Day (concurrent with the Arts of Engagement all day workshop)

Community Based Research Canada (CBRC) General Meeting - Need to Register / RSVP via CUVIC website

Tuesday, May 20th – 12:30 – 1:30 pm

Cadboro Commons, University of Victoria

Join us for lunch! Come and learn about CBRC’s work and vision from CBRC Co-Chairs Joanna Ochocka from the Centre for Community Based Research in Ontario and Sylvie deGrosBois Directrice, Service aux collectivités at the Université du Québec à Montréal. This is an exciting opportunity to build a strong Canadian network that champions community-university engagement and community based research.

#2. Engaged Practicioner Learning Exchange 9-12 - For Engagement scholars, activists, students and professionals in and outside of the academy!!! Open, Need to Register via the CUVIC website (See attached info)
