Sierra Club BC Summer Camps
Play! It's in your nature.
This summer, Sierra Club BC is offering day and overnight camps for ages 7-16. Based on our award-winning education programming, Sierra Club BC's week-long camps give kids an opportunity to get outside and learn about nature in both urban and rural parts of the Capital Regional District.
Nature in My Community
(Day Camp, 7-12 yrs)Campers will explore the people, places, and nature that surrounds them. Young explorers will go on hikes, learn about the plants and animals of B.C.’s different ecosystems, map our communities, and discover what is growing right in their own backyards! July 7 - 11 at Esquimalt Rec. Centre August 18 - 22 at Panorama Rec. Centre
Wild Things Nature Camp
(Day & overnight camp, 12-16 yrs)Campers will build skills needed to feel safe exploring their local community, as well as the great outdoors. Nature education, risk management, and camping skills are combined with teambuilding and leadership training. This includes a two-night camping trip in partnership with Parks Canada. August 11 - 15 or August 25 - 29 at Pearkes Rec. Centre
