The Victoria Chapter of BCSEA invites you to a screening of the film DISRUPTION
Sunday, September 7 at 7pm
University of Victoria
Harry Hickman Building, Room 105
This program is in solidarity with 350.org and a huge climate change event mobilizing for New York City on Sept 21. It is sponsored by the Victoria Chapter of the BC Sustainable Energy Association, the University of Victoria Office of Campus Planning and Sustainability, Kairos, and the Environmental Action Team of the First Unitarian Church of Victoria.
Disruption weaves together political intrigue, mind-blowing science, and an insider's view of the People's Climate March.
“The scientific warnings keep intensifying but there has been no political shift… Each day of business as usual puts us... closer and closer to the tipping point”
We need to act together. Please join us on Sept 7 to view this 50 minute film, followed by a facilitated discussion of approaches we can take both individually and in partnerships.
UVic's Harry Hickman Building is shown at http://www.uvic.ca/home/about/campus-info/maps/maps/hhb.php .
The closest parking lot is Lot 4 beside the stadium.
