Welcome to the inaugural night of the Troublemaker's Cabaret: an evening of artistic performance, live music, community-building, and political rants. We are coming together to highlight some of the amazing work that is being done by amazing people here at home, as well as to forge new relationships amongst community organizers and activists.

Some of your local favourites, including the Whistling Kettle Improv Team, the Raging Grannies, Kevin Paul, Morgan Purvis, and many more will be hitting the stage along with our hosts Marika Albert and Shane Calder to bring you a variety show of activist-related delights.

The evening, of course, would not be complete without musical performances by The Tuesdays, Still Broke, Tad Ruszel, DJ Fretwell, and the Art, Bobby, and Clinton Trio.

The evening begins at 7pm and goes until midnight.

Proceeds from the event will be shared between the Lkwungen Food Sovereignty project, and the Troublemakers’ Fund.

Tickets are available from the following groups:
- ESLAP
- Yes2SCS
- SEA
- IWW
- Clowns Against Child Poverty
- Wilderness Committee
- Community Action Bus

It has come to our attention that the elevator at the Victoria Event Centre is not currently working, and therefore is not currently accessible if you have any mobility restrictions. If using a mobility device, the washrooms may be difficult or not possible to access at this venue. We are working with the management, some organizations, and a local business to ensure that this problem can be fixed prior to the event and are currently looking at all options to ensure that those with mobility restrictions are comfortable attending.

We have come to realize that we have failed to properly address other issues of accessibility and inclusiveness in the lead up to this event. We are working hard to fix this prior to the event and are grateful for the opportunity to do better at this event and the many more to come, and wholeheartedly thank those who are keeping us to task. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions on accessibility, please be in contact at troublemakerscabaret@gmail.com
