I'm one of several volunteers helping to organise Repair Café Victoria - a place where people can bring broken household items and learn to fix them for free. Our first event will be on Saturday, February 14, 9:30am-12:30, at the Central Branch of the public library. If you'd like to volunteer your repair skills (sewing, darning, fixing small electrical appliances, etc.) please let me know. And if you'd like to come with all manner of household goods to fix on Feb. 14, please do! Looking forward to seeing you at the library!
