Next Volunteer Action Night – Wednesday, February 25

Hi PAOV,

Next week is Climate Action Night with the Wilderness Committee!

On February 25th at 5:30pm, join WC Victoria staff for an overview of our current campaigns aimed at fighting climate change, and learn what you can do to help.

Our Vancouver Island Campaigner, Torrance Coste, will be talking about our Save the Salish Sea and Stop Fracking and LNG campaigns. We’ll be highlighting ways that you can take action and help us win these campaigns.

At the Wilderness Committee, volunteers have always been the driving force behind our work to protect the environment and curb climate change.

This month, we need your help to spread the word about fossil fuel exports in the Salish Sea, as well as climate-threatening fracking and LNG plans elsewhere in the province!

We host our regular Volunteer Action Nights on the last Wednesday of every month from 5:30 to 7:00pm at our Victoria office (#202, 3 Fan Tan Alley). There are different activities each month, based on our various campaigns. Snacks are provided.

If you have any questions, or if you can't make it to the meeting but would still like to get involved please email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

We look forward to seeing you next Wednesday!

For the wild,

Emily Hoffpauir | Development & Public Engagement Coordinator
