Help out with new initiatives to Save the Walbran!
Hi PAOV,
Next week, come learn about how you can be part of our continued efforts to save the ancient forests of the Walbran Valley.
On Wednesday, October 28th at 5:30pm, join WC Victoria staff for an update on our Save the Walbran campaign and find out ways that you can help out with the next stage in this campaign.
Two weeks ago, we delivered over 5,300 signed Save the Walbran action cards at the BC legislature – and there were also over 1,000 letters written online by members of the public. This is all thanks to our amazing volunteers who worked so hard collecting signatures. Despite such huge public opposition, logging in the Central Walbran Valley could begin any day.
We need your help with some exciting new initiatives that we are working on to Save the Walbran. Will you join us next Wednesday?
We host our regular Volunteer Action Nights on the last Wednesday of every month from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at our Victoria office (#202, 3 Fan Tan Alley). Snacks are provided!
